Right, quality is MUCH more important that quantity (unless of course, it is unacceptably brief).

By the time the graders get to the last essay they become more lenient on the grading seeing as some people do run out of time.

not to inhibit discussion, but WHAT IF theres a collegeboard spy on the loose, monitoring these boards, and then they discover that you are SPILLING VALUABLE INFO about the test...they track you down, and GASP invalidate your test scores! what are you going to do now?!? you cant take this test again in the fall or next month....how will that affect your application?!?

just a friendly thought

thats why you dont put any personal info.. how are they actually going to find out who you are? and trust me, EVERYBODY talks about the test

Wouldn't make a huge difference.
I think I got a 2 or a 3 anyways :P
Anyways, the UC system only accepts it for generic, elective credit while most ivies don't even take it for credit.

the question is how will they track you....they cant.

haha when i realized i wrote half of essay 2 in the space left from essay 1 i almost had a heart attack, but then i just pulled myself together and rewrote it....good thing essay 3 was easy and i even finished with 10 mins left

yeah, i wanna post my thoughts so bad.. but it's not like people don't know about the board. I can't find my profile to see if my name is in it... if it's not you'll be hearing my 2 cents BEFORE wednesday. and BTW, like our teacher not going to ask about the test! If I'd already talked to my friend in germany at 1 pm there she could have spilled goods(theoretically). although we had COMPLETELY diff test.. of course... it's overseas.

Yes, people can track who you are through CC by identifying you either by personal information already conceded on your account or via your email where they can access further information. They can also check the isp you posted from, which is most likely from your home, which essentially also gives them your address. All of this is actually a lot simpler than it looks.

ha when i had to cross out essay 3 out of essay 2, people started turning around and staring because i was pretty much stabbing the paper

if they actually do these kind of things i really really doubt they'd start now, i mean, we wouldve heard of things like this happening in the past, but we never have

Can you find out what you made on each of the essays and the MC section? Or can you only get the 1-5 score?

but they can figure it out. collegeboard officials are sneaky...they know exactly what you are doing. its like their side job is in the FBI or NSA. they know everything...they are watching you...

remember, they were capable of ruining 4000 kids lives and got away with it....

I think the college board should just cancel everyone's scores since everyone, EVERYONE talks about it after. (note the ridicule)
It's natural to do that, as people need some kind of support after difficult tests.

i mentioned the whole they-know-wut-you-are-doing-thing in the 3rd essay lol

Actually, I think the majority DO NOT converse over this. Its just the people who are really obsessed over their grades and perfectionists that keep wanting reassurance. And I actually do think College Board takes its own rules seriously.

Well, at least at my school, during breaks and after the test, 99% of conversation was about the test.

Except it was probably allowed conversation, such as "how many questions did you skip?" or "how hard did you think the MC section was?" etc.

yes. it is for the people who cry about getting a 2390 on their SATs and a 35 on their ACTs, even though they have been studying for these test since 2nd grade, and STILL worry about not getting into college.

Hilarious! :-P ...My sympathies!! ;) :D
