So AP Language kids

How do you think you did?

I'm not too sure about the multiple choice, but I loved my essays. I think I'll get a 4, maybe a 5 depending on how well I did on the MC.

hopefully a 3. id crap my pants if i got a 4.

x]

I did good on one essay, not-so-good on another one, and meh-ish on another.

blehhh. I'm just hoping for a 3.

I'm in the same boat as Hime....

lol. thought the MC was alright tho.

I keep thinking about it. I think I did really good on my MC and decent on essays.

but there is one essay I read over at the last second and realized after I wrote it that I had tried something to stand out and sound humorous but I'm worried it will fall completely flat now :(

I'm worried because I was so exhausted and sick today and it probably took its toll on my essays...

Wow. This was officially one of the easiest AP tests I've ever taken. Along with Government.

The multiple choice was a total given. And the essays were fairly simple. I think I totally owned the first two and did average-good in the third one. Definetely a 5.

it was so easy
i swear...im jumping up and down! whooo....!

MC was alll easy the question types were easy, no hard questions

essays were like the ones we took in class, and im almost sure i got a 8 or 9 on my synthesis. soooo here's hoping! :)

mc was easyyyyyyyy

synthesis was...weird. dont think i did too well
analysis was easy
argument...what the hell!? how could you argue that its so basic?!

^I agree with everything you said. I wound up taking (what's probably) the more unpopular of the two stances on the argument essay, because otherwise it would have been another complete and total BS SAT essay and I hate those.

I definitely got a 5.
I prepared from PR, completed a surfeit of practice tests, and I guess it all paid off. [=

For me, the third argumentative essay was fair while the synthesis essay and rhetorical analysis essays were so easy. I wrote beautiful responses [8 or 9] for them. The MC was very easy. It just took me a while to get in test mode and pace myself.

Multiple choice was easier than I expected, don't think I missed too many there.
I'm still thinking about how ridiculously stupid the synthesis was.
Rhetorical was fine.
I agree that the argumentative one was too basic; halfway through I realized it was looking like the last ACT essay I wrote...

My essay for the last argument question was only 2 pages long. I found it hard to write much. It did seem like a SAT or ACT essay. lol

synthesis was meh... the other two essays I really liked. Especially, the argument I crushed that thing into oblivion(as in I did really well).

MC was decent... I always think I do well and end up missing silly questions so I wont say it was super easy. But no hard passages that I didn't understand.

I'm really only aiming for a four since english is my worst subject so I was pretty happy with it overall. The free response could have been a lot worse considering some of the practice tests and previously released tests I took.

I miss read one of the MC passages :(. I still think I got the questions right though. I'm think I got at least a 4. I LOVED my essays. Overall, I thought it was A LOT easier than the practice tests.

Is it against the rules to discuss what we included in our essays (as in motivators, current events, etc.) or do we have to wait 48 hours?

I actually started laughing once I saw what the synthesis was about (and got warned). Overall, I thought the multiple choice was very easy, disregarding the first couple questions, and the first two essays were pretty easy. I was so bored by the third essay that I was too lazy to change passive voice and verb to be, but it was still good. Easy 5 (Easiest one yet for me).

how can you guys all be so confident?
i actually thought MC was pretty hard, or at least the first passage.
i would be happy w/ a 3.

MC was a joke and the essays were easier than expected. 5.

^
that is exactly what i mean by confident.
