I got rejected. What are my chances now?

I got rejected by Stanford SCEA. So I'm wondering (or maybe just seeking reassurance) what chances I have at these school (all of which I already applied, or sent out applications to) The rejection really screwed me over, I've spent my Christmas vacation in a mad rush to send out applications.

You don't have a single chance at any of the privates on your list. They are all major reaches because your EC's lack and you h ave no hook, so are the UC's unless you're considered a Cali resident and not an international student.

You need like 2 or 3 safeties, and you should apply to them ASAP.

You should easily get into UCLA and UCSD. Northwestern and Dartmouth might be slight reaches but are possiblities. Cross the rest of those schools of your list though.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't think I'll have enough time to apply to anywhere else... I guess its community college or the army for me!

Howardini, you are an accomplished young man. I cannot comment on the UCs as I do not know their admissions policies for internationals. Your school GC should be able to advise you on chances very specifically on those schools.

You applied to a nice set of school--they just happen to all be reaches, reach for the sky reaches, and with your profile, you certainly should have applied to them and you h

What schools are still open for application? Please name a few I can apply to, and I have a chance at. I'm going to look for safeties. Thanks

no wonder i got rejected by stanford :(
your stats are so much better than mine and i am applying to dartmouth and cornell too, why aren't you applying to penn? did you forget to post that?
anyway, i wish you the best of luck.
i just rushed out my apps today :(

I didn't apply to UPenn because a lot of my friends are anti Penn, and plus a friend of mine who went there got mugged... all that kinda influences a person. But anyways, aren't there schools that have a Jan 31 or Jan 15 deadline? Help out please. Oh I forgot I applied to USC too. Is that a reach? (all my other ones are)

Howardini...i can assure you you' ll get into at least one of these schools...look at my stats if you want to feel better, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=19310
