does anyone know.. what i should do .. for UC's? i was planning on retaking regular us history in the summer.. but then some of my teachers told me it would be usless.. beacuse its not the "same class" ? does anyone know what i should do.

Isn't the US History course a requirement for high school graduation? Regardless, you still need to make up the class, which I suggest that you sign up for asap.

yeah but isnt D still passing??.. cause i had a friend that gotta D in AP US history his juniro year.. and he told me if i get a C or higher in government senior year.. then it will llike "cover" it or something? im not sure

Even if you retake the class, you have to put down what you received the first time. I had a D for Geometry and so I had to put that down, and the grade I later received.

Um... it depends on how your school sets the requirements. Either way, a D or F is considered failing, with C being a "passing" grade. Good luck.

UC's do not recognize or give credit for classes that you received a D in. It's as though you did not take it, as I understand it.
