Tisch has a grad campus in my hometown, so I can take some summer classes at home :P

NYC.

If I don't get in? Trying not to think about it.

The Clive Davis program is perfect for me.

It's freaking NYC

The school just seems so awesome.

If I don't end up getting in... I'll probably resort to ice cream and sleep for a few weeks. Probably gain some weight and listen to depressing music too. haha

NYU is not always what applicants imagine it to be. If you applied ED, I hope you visited the school. If you applied RD, I strongly encourage you to visit the school before making a decision.

Stern

Manhattan, especially Broadway

Excellent Faculty

Diverse student body

... and just to re-emphasize, Stern

I think the pipeline turned into a little trickle. Good luck to graduating seniors. Thank god I am only a sophomore. Two more years for the economy to improve.

I don't have to go -- it used to be my first choice, but I've reconsidered a lot of things, and some of what I've read about the school is...not what I expected. Regardless, I love the school and it's still a top choice. My reasons...

1. Gallatin.
2. The NYC atmosphere, resources, opportunities, culture, &c. 3. Gallatin.
4. Great study abroad program. 5. Gallatin.

I suppose the name means a lil somethin-somethin' as well... ;)

gah. want to go so bad my eyes well up when i think about not going and i want to leap off of the golden gate bridge.

but if i dont, which realistically is very possible:
mope for a few days, then get my poop together and think about an alternative plan, such as attending community for two years then trying again. if that fails, hey, there's grad school too.

NYU has been my dream since freshmen year.

NEW YORK CITY.

TIMES SQUARE.

City life... i'm living in the suburb area in the south and i am most definitely a city girl.

Snow... where I live, it rarely snows but i LOVE snow!

NEW YORK CITY/TIMES SQUARE

NYU is a GREAT school.

NYU's my first choice i really do hope that i can get it... even though i might not be able to pay for it. :( but my backup is a university in the state i live in.

still... i really really REALLY want to go to NYU.

I'm a freshman at CAS this year and I can definitely tell you, you will not see #3 as often as you'd like unless you focus more on finding fun in the city than in the studies (but hey, it's your money and your 4 years, you make it how you want it to be). It's very possible to balance out both but it's definitely not easy. Plus, NYU is nowhere near Times Square.

At #5, omfg LOL. Mark your words when it actually snows -> blizzards here, it's a huge ***** to cross streets. this has been hell week not only b/c of exams but because of the damn weather :(:( snow may sound pretty to someone who doesn't see it too often but there's something about city snow that just seems 1000x more sucky.
