I had my interview today and it was great. It lasted 2 and half hours. We went on many tangent and at the end I gave my resume..my interviewer said my resume was one of the best he has seen. As we were leaving the coffee place, he asked me if i had had someone professional work on my resume lol

So here is my question, how much do interviews impact admission. I loved my interview, I think it was one of the best interviews i have had.

very little. it’s a great step in the right direction, but a good (or bad interview) is only a small portion of your application and most likely serves as a tipping factor

how are you guys getting these kinds of interviews?!

i’ve had two (one for another college) so far but in both cases the interviewers seemed interested and enthusiastic, but they both lasted only an hour. it was basically a conversation and we both asked questions to each other. i guess just a mediocre interview, then?

i didn’t bring a resume because i didn’t think it was necessary and also could have been annoying to the interviewer.
