Up until the 1970's, the SAT scores were not rounded so you would have scores like 712V and 698M. Does anyone know if they ever rounded to 5's?
[/quote]
by 1976 the scores were in multiple of 10s ... so there is a pretty short window when they may have been reported by 5s

I don't advocate the death penalty though.

The OP is supposedly 23, so presumably couldn't have taken the SAT in the 1970s. Although this would have made for a killer essay, with "so much emotions" in every word, taking the SAT in a previous life, pulling yourself from your very deathbed, hoping that you would be reincarnated and be able to apply to college X...

Dufus- Your right on about this guy. However, it is possible to do poorly on the acts and excellent on the sats. I had almost a 1400 on my sats and a 25 act.

I have no experience with the ACT other than reading about it, but I don't see why not. They are certainly very different tests.

another iwannagoivy

Why does everyone keep mentioning iwannagoivy? I personally thought hOtIvYlEaGuEwAnNaBecHiCk (vice versa on the capitals?) was far more hilarious. :D

i never heard of that one.

warbles, although i was only able to read iwannagoivy's first page, I agree with you...I enjoyed hOt....cHiCk more

I WANT TEH HAVE UR BABIES!

"getting into these schools are tough"

really? Getting into these schools are tough? Are it?

" by 1976 the scores were in multiple of 10s ... so there is a pretty short window when they may have been reported by 5s"

The SAT is valid for much less time than since the 70's

warblersrule- who is that? interested. care to tell me what she did?

hmmm... maybe he said 'thanks for all the help y'all gave me' is b/c he was reading all our posts but wasn't exactly a member yet...???

bah. if all he/she is telling is true, then i'd like to have a piece of that essay, too...

Here you go.
Good Schools for Muah

My favorite line: "I'm currently looking into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Brown, Penn, and my safety, Cornell."

Oh, I myself kinda like, "...featured in the prestigious "Who's Who in American High School Students ..."

LOL, hOt...cHiCK was hilarious. I don't think I posted in that thread but I definitely read a good portion of it. I personally found her insistence that "Who's Who" is HIGHLY prestigious coupled with EXTENSIVE use of caps lock for SUPER-EMPHASIS very entertaining. :D

EDIT: Oh and I initially came into this thread to just snark about the title. Wouldn't ya know it, I happened to me too!

PM me Please.....i seriously wanna see it!!

Dude...it doesn't exist.
