I go to a relatively small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. I've come to terms that this just isn't the college for me. The classes are fine, though the selection to chose from is small. The people, however, I can't stand. Many come from wealthy families, so they can be snobby and act entitled. I realize I'm a little more mature than the average college student. I don't party much, but I do occasionally and I don't look down on the people who do. But these are the people I've grown up my whole life with, they're all the same and there's no diversity whatsoever. Despite what people have been telling me, I do think there's a collee out there for me, but I don't know where to begin looking. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.

It’s getting a little late to transfer for Spring, but probably still possible. Although, from experience, it’s hard to come in mid-year to a new school.
Regardless, if you can, try sticking it out for the year. Keep your grades up (so your options for transferring are larger) and also look for schools. Maybe a state school? PSU definitely is a larger school with more options, I’d assume more diversity as well. Or perhaps another state school, or if there was a #2 choice back in your HS search, would you reconsider that?
Best/worst case scenario, depends how you look at it, you can always transfer for the spring to your local CC. Take some time there to search for colleges while saving money, still taking classes, and then next fall enter in as a sophomore transfer to your new school.

a lot of schools have november 1st deadlines for spring transfer so there’s still time! i’m still working on mine for spring!

Go to your college’s career advisor and ask them; they normally give much better advice that people give them credit for. They also have tests that you can take which will helps with the determination.
