I have a question about the waiting list

<p>So guys, I was waitlisted by Cornell but got into other places.</p>

<p>If I accept to be in the waiting list, and later I'm offered a spot in the 2015 class, can I decide NOT TO ACCEPT said spot? I mean, can I decide to stay in the college I'm already enrolled in (and not for financial reasons)? </p>

<p>I obviously want to go to Cornell, but I might end up changing my mind later… I just don’t handle well things “with strings attached”.</p>
