I have acquired a distaste for a class that I have, though I only have 12 credits including that class. The refund checks for my college are coming out on April 1st, though the withdrawal date for my college is April 14th. If I go under full time will it affect my standing for financial aid next semester?

Ask your school. Usually withdrawals don’t reduce your registered credits for thr semester and don’t reduce your tuition bill. Only drops do.

Talk to the FA dept to make sure that will not affect your eligibility for aid. Withdrawing from a class may affect eligibility for aid so always check with your school before you do this. Also if you have any merit scholarships, make sure it won’t drop you below the required credit hours to maintain the scholarship. (my daughter’s scholarship required her to successfully complete a certain number of hours a year - 28 I think - and a W in a class would not have counted.)

Ditto to the above–go talk to your financial aid office. My school had a unit requirement for the year, not any individual term, so you could go under the limit one term if you went above the limit in another term. Regardless of what anyone else says, you need to talk to someone at your school for your specific situation to make sure it won’t affect your aid.
