And my acceptance letter page was just mixed up with someone else's!

I mean, I don't think I'm Princeton material at all. And the financial aid for me seemed like it was meant to be for someone else (11k income, 37k grant only?).

I heard a while back that Princeton accidentally sent acceptance letters to two students who didn't actually get in.

I also fear that Princeton will rescind me if they find out I quit an activity and job to concentrate on tutoring (most money is in tutoring, so I quit my Banana Republic job).

Don't worry about it. I doubt it happened and they won't rescind you for that. I don't think they even keep track of anything besides grades second semester of your senior year -- oh, and disciplinary stuff. You got in! Be proud :] Dreams do come true sometimes. (corny, i know)

I thought it was too good to be true too! Especially when I got an email with someone else's name. Lol. But the person apologized and mentioned they had lots of emails to send out today.

NU did not mistakenly admit students. The letter those students saw were on the Financial Aid website (not Admissions), first of all, and were not meant to be made public. The notification, if you could even call it that, was not even official.

radombetch, congratulations and enjoy this moment!! Please do contact Financial Aid. My son is a freshman, and I have found them to be very cooperative and willing to reconsider awards.

11K and only 37K grant?? I have a 61K income and I got a 43K grant. Of course, I live in Cali where standard of living is higher and my fam owns zero assets. Lol maybe your parents are trying to hide that million dollar mansion they inherited lst month.
