so me and this guy dated for 4 years then he broke it off because of his parents didn’t like me but we still like each other and its been a year sense we broke up and we can’t find anyone else what should we do?
The ball is in his court. It’s his family. He has to be the one to speak up…or not. You can’t make him do it. And to be fair, if he doesn’t you should walk away.
Put a date in your head. If he doesn’t come through by then move on. He still needs to grow up. But do not force him…he’ll resent you later.
That said, when you marry someone you get their family too whether you like it or not. Life’s much better when you get along, at least a little bit. Take the high road. Good luck.
