alright guys, i like this girl in my school, but i dont know her much and she isnt in any of my classes. Should i still give her something for valentine's day or will that be akward?

it may be a bit awkward, but it's extremely likely that she'll be flattered even if she doesn't have any clue who you are... as long as it won't be too creepy, i say go for it.

I don't believe in Valentine's Day

If your school has one of those valentine's gift things where you pay for them to deliver a card, candy, bear, etc to the person's class, then you should probably do that. Then it won't seem so random/awkward since it was like everyone had the opportunity to send things to others.

Girls of all ages love receiving Valentines from multiple admirers. As long as you are emotionally prepared not to be her only "gentleman caller" and don't expect anything in return, everything should be fine.

Keep it simple. A "friendship" valentine card signed with your phone # and/or AIM address + a cute little keychain or very small stuffed something-or-other should be fine. Nothing elaborate.

i agree ^

if your school doesnt do that, you could still give her something. she'll probably think it's sweet

oops. i meant i agree w/ pgedufailedme

So, ladies, what would you like to receive from a secret, unknown admirer like bonder? Give him some constructive ideas?

oh yeah, last year i got a red rose through the school valentine system, and i ended dating the guy, so go i also agree with sapphire and pgedufailedme.

it depends on ur personality and who she is... you should be able to decide whether it will be extremely strange, and whether shell like it based on the way she acts and the way you act.

I vote for creepy.

I got valentines candies from 3 different girls whom i didn't know in grade 10. In grade 11 i got none... Wonder if i'll get any this year

i'd give you some, IVY...

awwwww, but defintiely give a girl one if you like her. That's why they commercialized Valentine's day.

meestasi: well what if you're kinda sure she's not interested for anymore than a friend? haha tough position... although i've treated her to stuff before

aww thx hotpiece, that made me feel good!

I'm in the same position, except it's a guy, and he's a year older than me. I'm already 99% sure I won't get him anything, both because I don't know if he likes me and because I don't want to be seen as a silly fawning junior girl who embarrasses him in front of everyone...

haha i think if u dont know someone, it will be extremely awkward to give them something- they may think ur "that guy"

instead of worrying about a gift, worry about introducing urself

man, this bites

I have a question:

Does knowing that someone likes you make you more attracted to them?

(Say that out loud and it makes sense)

Not necessarily.

Example: That guy in my French class with the greasy hair and BO problem? He became exponentially more repulsive after he asked me out. It was... awkward.
