****, I have failed.

You are a sophomore, so it isn't too late! Just work harder and aim for all A's. You may not make straight A's, but if you AIM for them, you will get close to perfect grades. Also take the opportunity to do a lot of extra-curricular stuff that you LIKE to do. Colleges want you to be in clubs and go volunteer work, but they also like to hear about unique experiences that are interesting because you actually enjoyed doing them--not just because you had to.

SO get your scores up, your ECs up, and grades. You'll be fine if you work hard from here on out. :D

@ title
I thought you really had failed.......

...says the guy who's made innumerable topics and posts about how Ivies are overrated and takes every opportunity to exploit a weakness (i.e. job placement, grad. school after, etc, etc) about them....

Sorry but such irony, wouldn't you say? And like I said before, a tinge of jealousy.

^ who's that directed to?

Undergraduate won't even matter if you decide to go to grad school.

Don't kill yourself over soemthing as meaningless as going to a top undergrad school. You're being judged on things that aren't even relevant to your education for entrance into your undergraduate college, like ECs or stupid high school classes that you'll never use again (basically all of them).

Grad school is where your focus for a high ranked school should be.

Do the work, get decent grades, and whatever happens happens. It's just high school, which you don't even need to get into college.
