I have the right grades...right?

yeah i saw that, haha! seriously though, good luck colby seymore!

I have almost the same gpa (3.78), did all of my pre-reqs as well, and I am hoping to transfer to comm studies. I am very nervous because the avg. admitted gpa for last year was a 3.89 or something. I really hope we both get in!! I applied to berkeley as well and I know that both programs are impacted so they are much harder to get into. I worked on my high school and college news paper and I am hoping they take that into consideration, i doubt it though. I guess all that is left to do is wait.

3.78 sure is higher than my Econ gpa...

UCLA makes it a priority to accept as many as they can from CC. The UC system (and Cal State) are built n the foundation that ANYONE can move ahead if they work hard. And the CC is the place to start for people without the grades or finances to make it to UC to start.

Being able to get in now means that you busted your chops to do what it takes to get accepted. That shows motivation, and I would like to see the Recruiter that rejects that applicant.

wow look at you chumps. you guys got nothing compared to me.
