THANKS AGAIN!

impressive gpa, good chances

i would say pretty good

very nice chances. =)
good luck.

hopeful, where do you go to school? 940kids, im guessing its public lol. but you have to take a test to get in?

i go to a public school in Brooklyn, New York. There are three specialized high schools in nyc, one in brooklyn ,one in manhattan and one in the bronx. The one in manhattan sends like 35% of its kids to ivys. And you have to take an admissions exam to get into one of these schools- i think like 25,000 take it a year.

Brookyln Tech, eh?

Decent chances, how do kids with similar stats do at your school?

Your stats seem pretty generic--nothing passionate or unique except for the ton of volunteer hours. Good luck, but don't be surprised if you are rejected. Sorry!

arbiter, r u from nyc too? what high school? and to answer b4nnd20 question no one has gone to princeton from our school since the 70's-lol, one kid got in last year but didn't go
I agree- i am pretty generic...thats why it ****es me off sooo much that everyone at my school is like o you will get in, piece of cake...i was want to yell SHUT UP!

good numbers. mediocre ECs. the only truly impressive thing i see is the GPA----though it just may be enough to get you in

I'm not from NYC, but I'm from the suburbs, and my grandfather and stepmom, along with some friends, went to Stuy. I also have a bunch of friends at St. Anne's School.

ya having an unweighted gpa of 98 is INSANE.

unless the course rigor is lacking. like genetics/yoga---not very impressive lol.

and 3 ap's? i dunno

yoga doesn't factor into average-its gym, its a pass or fail subject, and genetics is incredibly difficult- its at a college level and the teacher LOVES details
i know 3 aps sucks but my schools makes it very difficult to take more aps- they reserve certain ones for certain majors (yes we have majors in my school)

ugh..stuy- the dredded school across the river- no just kidding its a great school

I have a question: Why does stuy always pale to the public high schools around syracuse (f-m, j-d) at science olympiad?

no clue...but thank god someone can beat stuy :)

lol..............tension?

lol- i guess im disgruntled b/c stuy beats us at everything

wow you look gooooooood...;)

anyone have suggestions for schools to apply to in the rd round- i want something good with pre med and bio

Cornell! And you get an advantage b/c you live in New York
