My country is listed under one of those "don't call for an interview, we'll call you if we need to" countries. There are some threads about upcoming interviews, so I'm assuming that Harvard has already started arranging them. I submitted my application before the Dec. 1 deadline, so should I be worried that I haven't been contacted?

By them do you mean the admissions office? 'Cos there no are listings for Harvard representatives in my country since there are waay too many applicants.

No, don't call them. That won't help you get an interview. Not following Harvard's guidelines will only irritate the overworked admissions officers. Interviews do NOT go to the pushiest when it comes to countries in which Harvard has a "don't call us, we'll call you" policy. More than likely, you won't get an interview (because interviewers are scarce in your country), but that won't be related to your assertiveness in seeking one.

You do NOT need an interview to be admitted to Harvard. I know many people who have been admitted to Harvard and other similarly selective universities WITHOUT an interview. It's not worth aggravating people about an interview just to get one.
