I haven't even had pre-calc yet

I need a straight answer, should I take Math Level 2 or Level 1 if I haven't even had pre-calc yet?

I'm scheduled for Lvl 1 this June.

I took Math 2 in May w/o precalc, but our school offers a functions/stats/trig class to bridge alg 2 and precalc. So I basically did not encounter any problem I had not yet learned. If you have taken a trig class of some sort, you may be fine (with a bit of extra prep). If you're coming straight from algebra 2, you might want to go with math 1 b/c there is a LOT of trig on math 2.

Pre-calc is basically a repeat of algebra II (or advanced algebra), with somewhat more depth in a few places. You should be prepared.

Personally, I like math and I get it all. I'm finishing pre-calc right now (with a high A) and (personally, again) wouldn't take the math IIc. Sorta very difficult for me, given the time constraints.

you definately need to take precal and take IIC...
or even at least took half an year of precal at your school..
or you should get a damn good tutor who can teach you everything
in a short amount of time

lol take level 1...Unless you already know how to do trig identities and sigmas then go for Math Level 2

Take level 1

Level 1, man.

Oh, forgot about the identities that pop up in precalc... yeah, you're better off with level 1.

I am in a similar case- just finishing alg II, but I know some trig such as cot, cosec, sec. I also know sigma. I also am strong in school math (A). what should i do?

lol, we aren't talking about sec and cosec and cot, we're talking about identitites like sin^2 + cos^2 = 1

They're actually pretty easy to understand. Proving identities is tricky, though I don't think you have to do anything of the sort on the math IIC.

But lvl I has a really tough curves. I actually found IC harder than IIC,in terms of scores. haha

"lvl I has"

I had difficulty understanding this. I thought you were trying to make an "M" using 1337, haha.

Math A is not sufficient for math lvl2, either wait a year if you can, or take lvl 1.
