I haven't heard anything yet. Should I be worried?

Alright, so my situation's a little tough... I moved from Michigan to California in between my junior and senior years. I already contacted a College Board representative over the phone and she informed me that in my case, my score would be evaluated using the cutoff of the state I took the test in (Michigan). I've seen two kids from MI in the other thread with a 210 and a 211 get NMSF status, and I had a 216. During the summer, I also mailed a letter to NMSC, informing them of my school/address change, and received a confirmation reply saying that the changes were made. As the title of the thread says, I haven't heard anything so far. Is this a cause for concern? :/

Oops, disregard this thread. I just called NMSC and told them my name, and they informed me that I was officially a Semifinalist  Advice for all future students: when in doubt, call NMSC first!

But how are you supposed to receive your packet?

And…congrats!

^ Thanks  I guess I’ll just have to talk to my school to see if they got anything…

Congrats! Get a hold of your packet asap as the deadline for the finalist application comes up pretty quick (your school will have to fill in its part, too). Call NMSC again if necessary.

Since you’re new to your current school, ask your GC how they will handle the recommendation and such.

And…if they don’t have your packet, call NMCorp and let them know…and call your old school because THEY may have your packet.
