<p>SAT scores could’ve been higher but definitely not bad. I don;t want to say you’d in 100% but you definitely look good on paper. Did you submit any brochures on your foreign country thing? </p>

<p>Anyways, what did you write about for your essays? It could only help if you expanded on your volunteer work and showed how meaningful it is to you. </p>

<p>I’d say you’d get into Duke. . .I know of a girl at my school last year who had comparable academic stats, but I’d say you have the edge in ECs, so I think you have a good chance, especially with the ED application, which tends to increase your chances!! <p>Only thing that might hurt you is your rank, but I guess it depends on how big your class is…it’s pretty impressive that you took all those AP’s. I think you have a good shot. Your community service involvement is basically amazing, they’ll def see that you weren’t just doing it for your application. That should set you apart a lot!

<p>mark african american…totally will boost your chances with affirmative action…your test scores are slightly low for duke but your ECs for sure make up for that…you have strong math/ science scores which are highly impressive…i think you have 75% shot of getting in</p>

<p>I’d say high match (the best chance you can have for a school as good as Duke). Good stats+good ECS+most rigorous coarseload+good essays-average SAT scores+URM=let me know when you get in. :)</p>
