I’m a senior and I literally just found out there was such a thing? It’s too late for me to take any, but I’ve taken many hours of dual credit courses, so is it too bad?
It is only an issue if you are applying to schools that require, or recommend, SAT subject tests. Check the websites of each of the schools on your list to understand their requirements.
Many schools accept the ACT (with writing) in place of the SAT and subject tests. So check with the particular schools you plan to apply for to see what their requirements are.
Some colleges will take an AP test score in place of a subject test too. Again, you have to check the websites of your colleges.
@Groundwork2022 we don’t have AP’s at our school, only dual credit.
Without knowing the colleges you are targeting, nobody can say how “bad” it is. But the reality is that nowadays few colleges require Subject Tests.
