@Taraiwbsosd8505
Congrats, I’m so happy for you.
Well that’s about the best birthday present you could ask for! Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! Now pay it forward to that kid next year worrying about decisions. Encourage them that what will be will be and to CYA with affordable safeties schools they will be happy to get a yes from to ease the stress. =D>
Congrats for your acceptances to date. You mention finances being important. Are there any rolling admissions of which you can still apply? Maybe you should search colleges where you will get more financial aid, to lower your COA. There’s also the “May 1” list, which will have colleges who still have space in their 2023 class. Good luck to you.
Since OP has a full ride to Macaulay, she would have no need to research additional schools for better aid.
How nice to read a thread with such a happy ending! Happy birthday and congratulations!
Thank you everyone! I will make sure to help and support upcoming seniors applying to colleges. I will encourage them and try to calm them when they go threw what I went through, thank you to everyone that spoke to me and helped me feel better. Thank you everyone,once again I cannot thank you enough!
Also, give them tips about where to apply (to apply widely, to look at 100% need colleges especially top national LACs plus any national university that “meets need” they haven’t heard of), to compete for Macaulay, etc.
Going back to your HS to share your experience with sophomores and juniors could really help other students.
