Hi there! I think it's a good idea to start our own thread where to post the colleges in which we have been acceped/rejected/waitlisted and eventually which one will we be attending this fall.

Good Luck to All!

I'll start first. Up to now:

Accepted: IUBremen
Waitlisted: Middlebury
Rejected: MIT, Swarthmore

My turn now.

Accepted: Smith College, AUBG
Deferred: Bates, IUB
Waitlisted: Bryn Mawr
Rejected: Brandeis

Accepted: Cornell (still waiting for fin aid), Wake Forest, Boston University, Boston College, Babson College, University of Southern California, Northeastern, American University, Drexel University
Waitlisted: Dickinson
Rejected: Lehigh, Brandeis, Washington & Lee
Still waiting for 13 more...
Yes, I applied almost everywhere :)

Vesselina, when did you receive your letter from Brandeis? I received mine today

Just like you, I got it today.

mirela, congrats on your long accepted list and especially about Cornell! How is your fin aid at those schools? Do they offer you full rides?

Well...actually most of them (except Cornell) give only scholarships, not financial aid.
Wake Forest - full ride
Boston University - $35k
Boston College - no scholarship
Babson College - about 20k
USC & Northeastern - still waiting, but hopeful
American U - full tuition
Drexel - about 20k

Wake Forest is my top choice :) unless Cornell are very generous, but I seriously doubt it :)

Good luck to all of you!
By the way, have you been in the USA?

just got rejected from middlebury, none acceptances so far

and i'm only applying to 7 schools, most of which are top tier (b/c of the more generous financial aid policy).... I'm such an idiot!

Diana, don't worry! Everything's going to be fine.
By the way, where are you from?

thanks Mirela, I hope you're right. I'm from Sofia, 1aeg.
Congrats on getting into your top school, full ride!

I lived in Philadelphia last year and loved it! That's why I want to go back so much :)

Is UPenn your first choice? Because it is mine..I've never been to Philadelphia though, but I'd love to!

Yes Wharton is my dream :) It so hard to go there because of the money policy though. But there still is some hope, an you can always go there for graduate school. I'm sure, you're gonna love Phily, Mira. It is such a cool city with a very nice feel about it, more European sort of :)
Where are you from?

I'm from Ruse (English Language School). I feel exactly like you about Wharton and UPenn as a whole :) I wish you luck!

Say hi to Mitko then! (Milenkov is his last name i think, should be at your school) We were in the US because of the same program.

Good luck to you too! :)

Yes he is! And by the way - he's been accepted at Harvard EA :)

hey! another bulgarian joining the group:)
i am from sofia, smg, and have so far been accepted to
marlboro (top choice so far) - 10k merit still waiting for need-based
ramapo - full ride
northeastern - waiting for aid. don't get my hopes up too much - they are stingy to intls...
rejected by: lehigh, colby and davidson... the lehigh letter was hillarious:) it made me not feel bad abput the rejection i laughed at them... yes i did apply to many schools...
waiting from about 10 schools among which cople of ivies
i got deferred by Harvard on EA
btw, mirela, is this mitko from ruse? i didn't know they have accepted so many bulgarians on EA... and congrats about cornell - i think this is my dream school - they have the best psychology department...
btw how do you know so early? did you applu to the ILR school?

congrats on eb's acceptances! and good luck with the rest of your applications

dacutewabbit, yes, I applied to the ILR school (they have rolling admissions).
Mitko is from Ruse, but it's not suprising that he was accepted - he's brilliant, a great guy. By the way, Harvard will cover all his costs. He definitely deserves it.
" i didn't know they have accepted so many bulgarians on EA... " --> how many are they?

I don't know for you guys but I'm checking my mail box and email every 5 minutes. I'm so impatient.

Mirela, that's why I turned on my sms alarm for incoming emails ;o)) It's a great remedy towards email anxiety! ;o)
I'm really surprised that there are Bulgarians accepted EA at Harvard!!!
Best of luck to all!
