By the way...i know you probably have already, but i'd hate for you to mess up something so simple:

Fill out the recruit form on princeton's website.

Combine those with a 4:12 and I'd say you've got a decent shot. However, in elite college admissions there is no such thing as a sure thing. Just make sure the coach knows both your times and your academic stats. Mail them directly to him. Include any newspaper clippings about big races you've won and/or sparkling times you've run.

those are very strong statistics and that mile time is stellar. you have a good shot.

Hey OVB, I wanted to know, how did you reduce your time so much? I'm not running for Princeton, but I have a 6:00 mile (I know, its way off) but I want to get it down to 5:00 over this year...is that possible? And if so, any tips?

Yeah, too bad OVB got banned because bendrumfront complained to a mod about him spoiling her threads.

Oh damn, I feel so slow with my 7:30 (last year, maybe about 7:15 now) mile but I guess I have an excuse of wrestling in 215-275 weight class:D

OVB, you're basically guaranteed. PM me if you want and I'll give you the Princeton coach's email, I'm sure he'd love to talk to you.

Yo, some of us are still to break 8:30 :p
