*Has not gotten a B since first semester Soph year
APs last year: US History (5), Eng. Lang/Comp (3)
This Year: AP Calculus, AP French</p>
<p>SAT I 1940 (700w, 660cr 580m) * will retake in fall
SAT IIs: 710 US History (will take Lit and French in fall)</p>
<p>EC:
-3 years of school soccer (1 F/S, 2 Varsity), I have played since I was 5, CYSA for 9 or 10 years, year-round team, huge commitment
-Class board since Sophomore
-Sports Commissioner 11th grade and 12th grade (I am really interested in sports journalism)
-Senior Vice President (Planning Prom this year)
-CSF (4 years)
-Math Club (4 years)
-Book Club (3 years)
-FOMF (4 years, 1 leader, 1 captain) *huge regionwide school trivia contest, my school came in 2nd past 2 years or so
-Dance (2 years- focuses on annual dance show in spring, I was a choreographer last year)
-Intern at local newspaper (sports section) starting 12th grade</p>

-Worked on Senior Citizen Center garden (9th grade)
-Soccer coach for local middle school (10th grade, weren't able to field a team for 11th)
-Ecoteach- went to Costa Rica to save endangered sea turtles</p>

- French Award- 10th grade
- A+ honors award all 3 years in math (Geometry, Alg II/Trig, AG/Calc.)
- Alg II/Trig Student of the Month- 10th grade
- Has had articles on school sports teams published in the local papers </p>
<p>Intended Major: Not sure, but probably something in History/Social Sciences or Communications.</p>
<p>Last Note:
I know that I am not as outstanding as other people, but I am very dedicated to what I love. I have a genuine desire to learn, but not a considerably high aptitude, thus my GPA is better than my testing.</p>
