<p>Please relax and don’t spam the forum. You already have another thread up with multiple answers, and even that one you still keep posting in again and again. You are FINE. I even went back to see if there was a reason you are so worried about this, and that Kent guy gave you some exaggerated information. You DO NOT need a 3.9 UW GPA to stay competitive, for NYU especially. Even at Columbia, you would get plenty of consideration with a 3.7-8 UW depending on your other application pieces. An application is not about GPA only, nor is it test scores only, nor any other single factor. Especially at top schools, its more and more about the application as a whole. Once again, you are fine. It’s freshman year as well, the least weighted of all high school years for colleges. Just keep working and try to improve if you want to increase your odds.</p>
