I messed up jr. year but still want to go away to college

Hello, I am currently a junior in high school in New York. I have a 3.0 unweighted gpa and a 3.3 weighted gpa. 3rd quarter just ended for me and I think I got 2 fails or a just passed. It's the most important year and this happened. I did terrible this year and I'm gonna try to maintain the 3.0 by doing good next quarter. I played a sport during 9th and 10th grade, and also I have a job that I go to at least twice every week. I took honors English in 9th and 11th and honors social studies 9-11th grade. The work just kept piling up the past 3 quarters. It's the most important year I don't know what schools I can get into now. Will college look at my senior year if I do good? I want to go away and not stay home for a year. But i understand that I might have to. I got a 1400 on my sat but I didn't study and I'm retaking it. Someone tell me if it's possible to get into these schools( they are not in any certain order):
Suny Albany
Suny Buffalo (university at buffalo)
Suny Cortland
University of West Virginia
Towson university
Temple university
Ithaca college
University of Vermont
University of Tampa
San Diego state university
University of Arizona
Arizona state university

You should stick to instate publics or small private colleges. Public universities located outside of NYS will NOT meet need so unless your parents have 45KX4 in a college fund for you, they won’t be doable.
Study for your SAT using number2.com; it’s free and it tracks your mistakes to help you correct them.

If you manage to get to a 1600 and keep that 3.0:
SUNY Albany, Suny-B, Ithaca will be reaches.
University of Tampa will be a match.
All others are impossible.
If you want to go to school in the sun, look at Westminster Mesa in Arizona; in Florida, Flagler (school in a former deluxe resort), Eckerd (school right on the beach); in Virginia, Emory&Henry, Lynchburg.

Talk with your parents about what they can afford for college.

Was that 1400 your score for all 3 sections of the SAT, or for the Critical Reading/Math scores (ie. just 2, without the writing)? That’s very important to know. WV has admitted some students with spotty records (my older son has friends who went). What about Evergreen State College, in Washington? They have open admissions. You could also look into some community colleges in the Sun Belt. If you do well, you have a very good shot at admission as a junior transfer to a good state college.
