I've had a really rough week and thought what else could go wrong, well the teacher in my room directed us to go to page two, and in any standardized test before the first page is always instructions they read you anyway, so I ignored it, and accidentally skipped right to section 2 not thinking anything of it. I completely ignored the essay and feel utterly dumb, by the time I figured out what I had done there was five minutes left and I tried to rush to do to the essay and wrote like five lines and I'm worried and want to to know if I should cancel my scores.

Canceling your scores might be a good idea. The essay counts for ~150 pts of your writing score, and if you actually wrote 5 lines, you won’t be able to get higher than a 650 on the writing portion. I don’t know what kind of score you were aiming for, but if ~600 in writing was not what you’re looking for, your scores will be low.

When I took the test, there was a kid in my room who thought that there were ~20 questions on the 35 question MC writing section, and didn’t realize that he hadn’t done half the question until there was a minute left. These kind of things happen; who anticipates them? Just sign up for June date (there’s still time), and take it again. Good luck!

I think you have to cancel scores that day.

And pay attention the next time you take the test.

I agree, you probably should cancel your scores. You have until the Wednesday after the test to send in your written cancellation.
