I messed up the test reporting section of the Common App

My school attaches ACT/SAT scores as part of the transcript that the counselor submits, and I didn’t really understand the whole “self reporting” scores thing, so on the Common App where it asked if I wanted to self-report scores I said no because I thought my counselor had already done it. I applied early action to one school, and I logged onto that school’s portal and it says they have not received my ACT/SAT scores. That college takes self-reported scores, which I just thought meant the one the counselor uploaded, but I’m just now realizing I was supposed to enter my score in the Common App. Is it okay if I directly send the scores through ACT tomorrow? Will it get there in time? I’m kind of freaking out right now and would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I would email the Admissions’s office using the school’s provided email, and take a screenshot of your act/sat report. Then place a rush request for your scores to be sent. My daughter added an EA application last week that allowed for self report, but they also wanted official scores sent. They just asked her for a screenshot for verification before they received official report. And make sure you make the changes to your common app before sending off any other applications.
