<p>I have an iPod Shuffle (about $80) that I love. Friends have had good luck with SanDisk (various models at various prices). I do sometimes miss having a screen on the Shuffle. If you get a non-Apple brand, you will be able to find a model with a screen for much less than the Nano, (although the Nano is nice, too).</p>
<p>Wait until Woot</a> : One Day, One Deal (SM) offers up a new one. It'll likely be a refurbished Sandisk player for around $20. Unbeatable price. I got my brand new Zune (30gig) from them for $130. They also offered refurbed ones for $100.</p>
<p>I'd say the iPod Shuffle is pretty good.</p>
