Hi, I'm applying to Boston College, Villanova, and Notre Dame and need some safety schools that are similar in multiple aspects. I'm looking for schools that are not **as **academically sound; however, are not extremely easy to get into. Also, I'm looking for the complete college experience, and to me that involves a good sports program. I want to be in an environment where everyone is a fan. Can anyone give me some help?

Your local state school is usually a good safety, and they frequently have the added benefit of major sports programs.

I need more info to make a suggestion.

Providence College?

Fordham, St. Joes, Loyola MD, Fairfeild

Having more information would help better determine a safety school. Like GPA, location, etc....

Marquette.......Holy Cross...St. Louis U.

Holy Cross is as difficult (if not more) to get into as Villanova.

U of Miami/Ohio

University Of Virginia, Miami University in Ohio

are u kidding me ? UVA is NOT for safety.

oh my bad, i though she just wanted ideas

Fordham, maybe?

ok, well i've got lots of leadership/ec's. i won't list them all. 96.2 GPA, 31 on the ACT. doesn't really matter where it is, I'm just looking for the complete college experience.

Clemson University has the happiest students, the best quality of life, is very academically solid in fields such as science, engineering, education, nursing, architecture. Also, the Clemson Tigers are very competitive in football and basketball (ACC basketball? can't beat that!) The students bleed orange at that school!

Clemson sounds EXTREMELY interesting. I'd like to major in Communications; however, I'm also looking into Marketing. At Clemson, I could major in Marketing with a focus in Sports Marketing. Awesome!
