I Need a Study Guide. Can YOU Help Me?

I am a rising freshman at a weak school in a rural area. I have taken a practice ACT test from the ACT people (those packets they give out) and my scores are as follows:

English: 25
Math: 32
Reading: 34
Science: 18

These scores seem random to me... and everyone else.

My goal is to apply to a magnet school for my Junior and Senior years. I have exactly one year to bring my ACT score up. The Goal? A composite of 34. This is impossible, as you can already tell, but I need some recommendations of how to study. I am listing my books:

PR's Cracking the ACT
PR's 1296 ACT Questions
McGraw's English and Reading ACT
McGraw's Math ACT
Dissecting the ACT 2.0
Barron's 36
The Real ACT Prep Guide
AP Satistics for Science (I've heard it helps)
4 or 5 Official ACT Practice Tests

My weak points are English and Science. Any scrap of information given will be greatly appreciated, and i will do some service on the forums to you. I have one year to get it up. Some questions I would like to know are: How much time should I put in each week? What approach should I use? Test, test, test or Read, read, read?

Again, thanks a ton and let me know any way I can help you.

Hoping for answers, stu2015
