sigh don’t we all! I’m 17 and I’m trying to get a job that I like lol maybe working as a secretary at a church (I know they don’t have age limits) or babysitting? Have you given thought that maybe depending on your parents won’t be that bad for another month or two?

In my church everyone volunteers no one actually gets paid, and who would want a 15 year old to babysit there child lol. And yes it would be horrible because they always complain that i use all their money.

Usually some teens know families who have kids that they are able to babysit. Do you ask for a lot of stuff? Or are they just exaggerating?

Yes i ask for a lot of things lol but half the time i dont get it or i get it like so many months later that i dont even want it anymore. and do they have angencies for babysitting or do i have to hang up posters and stuff.

Well just to put it out there, if you don’t find a job, you’re clearly going to have to stop asking for so many things and be aware of the financial burden that you may be putting on your parents.
I know there are some babysitter websites and whatnot, but it’d be more practical to post flyers around your area (neighborhood, church, and the like) You might need certification in CPR and First Aid. Although it’s not necessary, parents would feel more confident leaving their kids in your care.

Just wondering, but…why on earth are you only just looking for a job now? I had to apply for mine by the first week of May and I only just got out of school a week ago. If you’re looking for a strictly summer job that isn’t something casual like babysitting, it’s way too late.
