Where can I get a job at the age of 14-15

Hey I was wondering if you guys could help me out and think of places that hire people at 14 years old. Or 15 later this summer? Thanks in advance

I got hired at a grocery store during my late 15th year.

There are so many threads like this already, search them.

Yes mam, mam yes mam

Water parks and farms, but I don’t think they’re required to give you minimum wage.

Maybe a bagger at a local supermarket. You could work at a camp, but chances are you’ll get paid < than min wage.

My DS & DD were both dog & cat sitters during the summer months and mad tons of money. It is lots of responsibility but they’d it it for all four years of high school. Send out emails to your parent’s friends and post on face book to get the word out.

Thanks everyone ! Anyone else ?

Aside from local places that might hire you, most won’t usually until you’re 16. I’ve found that if they have plenty of people 16+, they usually don’t bother with younger applicants because they need a work permit (in my state, at least) and they don’t want to deal with the paperwork hassle.

If you are a great swimmer, you could become a lifeguard at 15. All of my daughters have done this. I buy loads of sunscreen! If you live in an agricultural state, you can detassel corn. What about babysitting? Mowing lawns? Cleaning houses or helping elderly neighbors? What about tutoring younger students? Picking up refuse from construction jobs?
Good luck!

Tutor if you’re smart

The best job for you would be to mow lawns around your neighborhood. Start a yardwork business and post flyers EVERYWHERE. I managed to make upwards of 2k last summer with minimal effort. Why would you work for minimum wage in a store when you can easily make $40+/hr elsewhere?

Why go to college when everything taught there can be found for free on the internet or libraries?

Why in the world would anyone charge you 40 dollars to mow the lawn
