I need awards and honors!!

It seems as if everyone applying to college has at least one type of award. I haven't won anything since elementary school when I won honorable mention for church choir and 2nd place for Chinese school. I'm not asking for competitions like the Intel Science thing or the National Writing Comptetition or anything like that. I'm not really that talented. I have no interests in art or building robots. Also I'm ok with entering writing contests as long as the prompt isn't about how we can end world hunger or anything like that. What contests are out there that are like that?

Have a nice day

Here are some contests you can look at.

You don’t need any awards. What you need is a passion about an activity or interest. Anyone can get an award which may or may not have any real meaning. You can not easily fake passion when you spend a good deal of time in the activity. Some of the more competitive schools will look at your activities to see how deep your interest was in a particular activity. Best example I can give you is my son, who is not a genius, but a hard working kid who has been a member of a large national organization that is involved in patient care advocacy. Best of luck to you up in your search.
