I'm a chemical engineering major entering my third year. I'm quite a bit behind on the requirements for my major due to switching majors my sophomore year.
Below I listed the classes I can take fall quarter. Pick 3-4 from the list below and tell me why I should decide to take those.
Math 20D
CENG 100
Physics 2C
Physics 2CL
CHEM 7L
CHEM 140A

Physics 2C - the teachers available, Griest and Anderson, are good and pretty easy. Wuerthwein is teaching 2C next quarter and his class is an easy A as well, but I think physics is worth getting out of the way.

CHEM 140A - i recommend taking this class on track because you get the best selection of instructors to choose from. don’t know if you can get in at this point considering how waitlisted it gets

CENG 100 - unfortunately i don’t know anything about this class but it seems like a foundational course that opens you for enrollment in future upper-division CENG classes

I think with CENG 100, CHEM 140A and PHYS 2C (and 2CL) you will be kept plenty busy and be well on your way.

Take my advice with a grain of salt though, as I am not a chem engineering major and have not consulted a major checklist or 4 year plan in advising this. I base my counsel on who’s teaching and what I think goes well together in terms of workload and instructor quality
