I am panicking and I need help. I have to give background on this situation first. I have been chronically ill since freshman year and have ended up taking my classes online. I have done decent considering my health. In the last year my health declined badly. I bombed my AP exam because I was in too much pain to sit through it and my grades have been lower than average. I am not planning on going to college in the coming year like I typically would seeing as I am a senior because to put it simply my health doesn't allow it so I am looking at a few years in the future if at all because I actually have a fairly successful career path already. What just happened is I had surgery. It was supposed to be about a two week recovery and I told my teachers this. The surgery was complicated so recovery has been about a month and a half but I have contacted my teachers with the situation and my AP Econ teacher told me not to worry. Now I get an email today that he has made me withdrawn/failing and finalized my class. I don't have all of my credits and I am only in one other class. Without sounding vain I am an intelligent person and have taken practice GED tests and gotten perfect scores. My question is do you think that with well documented health problems and letters from doctors as well as really good GED scores do you think I could get into FSU? I am wondering what to do. I can keep trying to take classes and finish even though it makes my health problems worse many times or I can take some exams that will be easy for me to do well on. My question is do you think I could get in with that and does that seem like a good option. Health wise it is the best for me but I also have my future in the back of my mind incase the career that I am pursuing right now that is going well falls through. Please help.
