I need more matches/saftey schools

I have plenty of reach schools that I am planning on applying to, but reality has started to sink in that I need more safety and match schools to apply to. I’m open to any and all school suggestions! Here are my stats:

SAT: 1090 (R: 640 M: 550)
*Note I’m retaking the SAT on October 1st and I plan to get at least a 1250
GPA: around 3.7 right now, but I plan to get excellent grades (All A’s) senior year
Course Load: AP Gov (3) AP Psych (4) AP Lang (3) AP Euorpean history AP Enviro AP Latin AP Economics AP Literature
all other classes were honors/normal
Essay: 8/10
Letter of Rec: 8/10 for both
EC’s: Pretty standard, nothing special
Awards: Honor Roll & AP scholar

The only safety/target school I have so far is CU Boulder. I’m mostly looking at schools in California, and Colorado, but I’m open to really any college that isn’t in the North! Thanks!

You should add some CSU schools to your list! CSU long beach and CSU Fullerton would be solid for you, and if you get a really good test score maybe SDSU?

What you can afford to pay each year, since safeties need to be affordable? CSU’s will cost around $36K-40K/year with no financial aid since your OOS. Have a look at the WUE for safety/match schools where you get reduced tuition as an OOS applicant?

None of the CSU’s listed above ^^ are on the list for WUE, but Cal Poly Pomona, Northridge are on the list along with a few more CSU’s and UC Merced, so these might be a consideration.
