Please be honest. I need grounded motivation.

Damn people are heartless out here.

about 10 points, give or take 10 points.

i had a high PSAT to SAT increase of about 250 points but SAT to SAT was not as much.

1960 ----> 2360 (My scores)
I spent an absurd amount of time preparing though.

0, muhahahaha

they usually only go down.

kidding, kidding. study! I went from 1780 to 2290 :P

^wow thats a HUGE improvement…how could you do it?

I haven’t taken the real sat yet but in terms of practice tests: increased from 1770 to 2210.

I hope to post in this thread after the Oct 09 scores are posted :D

My D went from 2110 to 2330 in 3 months - with one-on-one tutoring.

1620 -> Freshman Year (practice)

2320 -> First try Junior Year [I think it was luck b/c I didn’t study much]

I went from a 210 PSAT to a 2380 SAT

is that motivational enough?

1450 -> 2090

Mine went down 10 points from the first to the second.
It also depends on the curve…I suggest taking it in May because that’s when all the really smart kids are taking AP exams, so the curve is higher.

This post just motivated me. 1760 -> TBA in October

just bad advice… the test is STANDARDIZED

if you wanted to be clever you should have said 200 to 2400

A score of 0 is impossible.

btw, if you wanted to be REALLY clever, you should have said 600 to 2400, because 200 is the lowest score PER SECTION :P

This is really inspiring and all, but why are there two threads?
