First of all, Hello to all!
Okay, so I need advice/opinions on my current high school status. I want to know what my chances are of getting into a good UC in California. This is why I need opinions, freshman year wasn't my year and I ended up getting a 1.6 GPA first semester and a 0.9 GPA second semester. Sophmore year was when I started taking school seriously with a 3.4 my first semester and a 4.0 second semester. I'm currently a junior and I got a 4.0 my first semester and if everything goes to plan, i'll end up with a 4.0 this semester again. I'm planning to take 3 AP classes my senior year and I known that I am capable to getting straight A's. I've gotten a 1060 on my PSAT and i'm taking the SAT in June and I know that I am capable of getting a 1300. I know that i'm not getting into the top schools but my goals are to be able to get into a school like UC Riverside. I also know that I want to hopefully study Medicine. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Any advice/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Did you take any Honors, dual enrollment classes or AP classes as a sophomore or junior? These are needed to calculate you UC Capped GPA.
Right now your your UC unweighted GPA is around 3.85 without the extra honors fudging. You picked a good time to start getting serious about school. Which should put you in good shape for the lower UC schools like UCR. You’ll probably need 1200+ as well to really round things out. Who knows, a 1350+ SAT would put you in contention for the second tier UCs as well. If you can use the next 3 or 4 months to get you SAT really high, that will definitely help.
Start thinking about what you will write for your essays and see if you can get in some good ECs before the summer is over.
Do sat exercises daily, with weekend practice tests where you review all mistakes and focus week exercises on what you missed.
9th grade resultd won’t count, lucky for you. But passing classes for a-g requirements will.
Check that you got a C in all A- g classes from 9tg grade on and they by the end of 12th grade you’ve met all requirements.
There’s a deal whereby out can apply to UCR in July before your senior year from a sort of priority consideration. Also, UCR has special health /pre-med programs so look into them and apply if you’re eligible.
Do apply to a variety of universities though.
I agree with @MYOS1634 on applying to a variety of universities. Broaden your list, and you’ll find plenty of great programs to also aim for. Dual enrollment or summer college classes can definitely bring up your GPA, so look into that.

Thank you all for the helpful advice! I’m currently studying every time I can for the SAT.
