I live in Texas, and my parents are from Pakistan.
I'm in the IB program, which is the most rigorous one available in my school (or nationwide, arguably)
Class rank: 25/715 (So around the top 3-4%)
Composite ACT (plus writing): 31 (This was with virtually 0 preparation, will retake this month)
SAT: Reading (590) Math (570) Writing (680)
Should I retake the SAT? Or do those colleges take only ACT as an option too?

Extracurricular:
Member of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)
Member of NHS
Member of Mu Alpha Theta
Member of MSA
I have volunteered at a nursing home, 5K for charity, childrens dance recital, Summer Zoo Camp for kids, Library, etc. (Totaling around 150 hours)
Also, I'm rather sure my teachers will write sparkling letters of recommendation (from prior experience.)

What advice do you have for getting accepted?
Rice would probably be the most practical one for me, because it's not on the other side of the country (My parents don't want me to move far). But, the other 3 would give me a completely different life experience (I'm not too crazy about Houston, and I love NYC, which Columbia is in and Yale is fairly close to). I know I want to be a doctor, which is why I'm applying to Johns Hopkins as well. I am torn on where to apply for early decision (if at all). Rice is very slightly leaning for my #1 choice, but if I got accepted to the other 3, I wouldn't know where to go at all. (I'm not counting on any of these schools, I'm applying to several safety schools as well. However I really want to try my hardest.)
Any tips would be helpful!
Thanks
