<p>^ No. First off, it was the Mayans. Second off, they said that we were going to enter a new era, not that we were going to die or that the world was going to end.</p>
<p>^ Agree. And the Mayans said that the white people misinterpreted their calendar, and that the calendar just ends in 2012, not that the world ends in 2012.</p>
<p>Sadly, i found that out after writing in my AP World History frq essay that “the Mayans were so smart that they predicted the end of the world, which is also known as the Apocalypse.”</p>
