The world may come to an end in 2012. Look at the gulf coast oil leak in real time. YouTube - PBSNewsHour's Channel
My friend thinks the following things will happen once it reaches the gulf stream, causing it to spread.
it'll reach the gulf stream in less than a week
going all over the world
destroying fishing industry everywhere
raising gas prices
destroying the auto industry
destroying the economy
WWIII

I do believe these things could in fact happen.

but following bible prophecy…Jesus Christ is coming back soon.

I think he will come back during good economy times though…we will think everything is perfect. People will refrain from praying since they feel all is well, and he will come.

I went to a lecture on Sunday about it Oh, the magic of church!

lol what’s with all the Jersey13-ness all of a sudden??

I live right by the ocean, and I plan on becoming a hermit of some sort once my house is under the ocean, but now the ocean could be covered in petroleum??? AMG HALP!!!

oh yes. I’m agnostic regarding Jersey, but I believe that Aero (who lives in New Jersey?) is the God of CC, even if he is unable to combat oil spills

Pshh, who says I’m unable to combat deep-water oil spills?

I can’t really get over how much oil is being lost into the ocean. I keep watching the live feed of the clouds of oil billowing out, and it’s ridiculous to realize that this has been going on for over a month. That’s potentially an average of millions of liters of oil per day. Not to mention the effects on local wildlife and business this disaster has caused.

I’ve thought about this before, but then I realize that there is consistently this many threats to our Earth at all times and all the threats are of equal gravity (there were 5 years ago, there were 50 years ago, there will be in 100 years)

Did you post this on fb? (I saw something like this in passing, but it didn’t register what it was or who posted it)

PS: The fishing industry is supposed to collapse in the next 40 years anyway, causing mass famine due to subsistence fishers. It’ll be interesting. Glad I don’t eat fish :/.
