I pace a lot

Like, I walk back and forth a lot. it seems to relieve stress, boredom, and excitement. is this unusual? would i be considered weird? i often get up from my seat, pace, and then get back down on my seat. does anyone else do this??

I do. I don’t think it’s abnormal. Some people need to move around more than others. I know a teacher who does not sit (or stand) still ever.

I do that when I talk on the phone lol

My brother does that nonstop - it’s weird lol. He literally go on for hours if he had to (which is actually quite distracting - I have to keep telling him to stop moving b/c I just can’t work with one person moving back and forth constantly from room to room. It’s annoying…

I pace all the time.

Currently, I am trying to figure out a way to pace while surfing the internet. I am thinking of some sort of thing with a harness and a netbook might work.

I pace a lot as well.

Usually occurs when I am talking on the phone or trying to write an essay, and somtimes while reading.

Personally, I prefer running to pacing. :)

I pace when I’m eating lol. But I like running too, just any kind of rhythmic activity i guess.

I pace on the phone. Burn quite a few calories as I tend to stay on the phone awhile.

Woah! meee too Warts!!! I only pace when i talk on the phone.

yea i do that when i’m on the phone for some odd reason. i don’t think its abnormal though.

I pace when I’m on the phone…but also off. I’m one of those people that can’t sit still. Sometimes I just get up and walk down the hall and don’t even realize it until I’m in someone’s room and I have to think of a reason I came to see them haha

haha i do that too! I’ll shake my foot during class, or sharpen my pencil, or get up to get extra credit, or just get up to talk to the teacher, even go to the restroom.lol, I’m incapable of just sitting there.

I just went for a 3+ mile walk. Pretty much spontaneously.

I feel so much better now.

When I’m on the phone I do it. Or just when I’m studying.
