I planned to do Math Level 2 and am reconsidering

<p>SATs are tomorrow, and on my UC application, I put that I planned on completing the SAT II Subject Test: Mathematics Level 2. However, I am now reconsidering on taking the Literature Subject Test instead. I'm not planning on majoring in mathematics in college, I just made a bad and impulsive decision at the time. I have the materials to cram for the Math Level 2 test (thanks to a friend), but I am mostly unfamiliar with the concepts it expects me to understand.</p>

<p>Will taking the Literature subject test instead of the Mathematics Level 2 test I originally planned and put on my UC application have any significant bearing on my chances of getting into a UC?</p>

<p>Math 2 is needed if you submit a math but a math is not required although strongly recommended for engineering. If not applying engineering or science, it makes no difference and switching to another test won’t be held against you – what you put on the app doesn’t mean you have to take it.</p>
