I have heard soo many great things about questbridge for awhile now. I really want to apply but I feel I will be rejected right off the bat. I am a African American male who will be a senior starting next week. I go to a charter school that is only about 4 years old and not well known about the area. kids who graduate mostly go to community college. But on my list of colleges I have some 25 schools and a few nearby schools like Pitt. My mother receives social security and that adds up to a income of 20,000. Also we try to take of my grandmother who has alzheimer's. There are also other family problems that I rather not mentioned. I have never had any contact with my father. I feel that I have been through ALOT in my life so far and I try to learn from and overcome all of the problems I have had. I took the sats in June and I was not pleased at all. I will retake them in the fall along with subject tests. I just if I should like apply regular decision or take a chance at questbridge due to my special circumstances. ANY HELP I receive will be greatly appreciated. ALSO I WILL BE THE FIRST IN MY FAMILY TO GO TO COLLEGE IF I GET IN ANYWHERE. THANKS:)

I’m not sure what help you’re asking. You sound like exactly the kind of student QuestBridge is designed for. The QB site has lots of tips on the application process and is probably the best place to look.
