They want a copy of my mother's tax return, and some form filled out...does this mean anything in regards to my acceptance or not? I'm still waiting to hear on the 17th...but why would they want my financial stuff unless they were accepting me?

Financial aid offers go out this week, as do acceptances. The financial aid office is separate from admissions, and has to be prepared to offer anyone with an acceptance an offer. Often, one hand does not know what the other one is doing. So in some instances this may be meaningless.

However, given that this is the second round of acceptances, and given that they are not likely to prepare an offer on every single person who applied, it seems positive. Don’t get your hopes up too high yet.

But starting at 5pm the evening just before the acceptances go out at midnight, check on the status page to see if you owe a tuition deposit. Those go up starting at about 5pm, up to about 7-8pm. If you owe a tuition deposit YOU ARE IN.

Thanks! I just thought it was weird for them to ask me to send my mom’s tax return if I didn’t even know if I was accepted yet! Hope I get in, and good luck to everyone!

Respond to any such requests promptly and fully. :)

I’m trying! but it will take a while to send the packet there, as I live in Germany :(

Does this mean anything good? I was going to wait to send it until I find out my decision…

I just tried checking my account statement, and it’s saying that an error has occurred and that IT support has been notified…guess they’re getting ready!! :)

I haven’t received any e-mails or anything =

There’s no change in my account statement, it’s still 0$

Woah, you’re coming from Germany to FSU? What made you decide that you wanted to do that?

Dad’s a FL resident…and I’m American…not German xD
