I took the November 2015 a couple days ago, but then after taking the test I realised that I bubbled the wrong gridded math section. I was feeling pretty confident about the entire test and was predicting I would be getting 2300+, but realising that I screwed up this bubbling I am really bummed out. Is there anything I can do about it? Will college board understand my mistake and hand grade it?
Call the College Board immediately and tell them about the mix up. They might be able to fix the problem before they “officially” grade your test.
Remind them that your work to the Math problems is in the test booklet to help show you didn’t do anything illegal like cheat.
Depends on what you mean. In general, there is no reason they would take your word after the fact unless it is really really REALLY clear what error you made and they can interpret EXACTLY what you did mean.
If the bubble doesn’t match the number, they can’t pick the “best one”.
Seems to me that if you are a 2300+ SAT student, that’s quite a big screw up for you. Plan to take it again if you do poorly, I would think that if you know about that error, you may have made more…
@mmk2015 why would they assume I cheated though? It was just a carless error that I bubbled the wrong section .
Why are you posting here? Just call the College Board asap. They might be able to fix the problem. Asking idiots like me isn’t going to fix the problem.
