I screwed up...

Ok so heres my current math transcript

9th-Alg 1 99(1st)-99(2nd)-99 fin. avg
Summer School Geo 86-68-77
10th-Alg 2. (H)- 95-94?-95
11th-PreCal(H)- 95-95-95

OK... so heres the thing... NO I don't suck at geometry, its just I had a very bad relationship with her (Mrs. Lansdale). First, I failed the last 3 weeks (2nd.Semester) because supposedly she started counting questions wrong for not showing work on paper, which in my view was only towards non-Poteet students (I looked at the their tests and saw they committed the same sin). So that is my reason of failing that 2nd sem. with a 68.

will this affect my chances of getting into a decent school such as:
UT, Penn. State or A&M? I mean I have a 3.73ish GPA and still top 5%, but will they look at that grade and throw away my application?

You can retake the class next summer.

D's friend got into Penn State without taking one single AP course. He has mostly Bs and some As. So relax, you should be ok.

Maybe at a branch campus, but for University Park you need at least a 3.5 gpa. I think that you're fine if you have a 3.7ish, but the Columbia student needs to realize that one D's friend is definitely not a representative sample size.

To the poster...I think you have a shot at the schools around the Texas/Penn State range. Schools you may also want to consider: Syracuse, GWU, Florida, UIUC, Tulane, Maryland. Best of luck.
