I get an e-mail saying that they don't have my transcript or counselor recommendation forms, should I be worried that my counselor didn't send them in or is it doing that because they are swamped. Please help before I start yelling at my counselor

I'm sure it's because they are swamped. (Nicely) ask your counselor if your forms have been mailed, or you can call IU and ask them if they have been received. We're in the same boat.

IU doesn't have time to tell you if they've been received. Just (nicely) follow up with your counselor and ask the date the info was sent to IU, as Oregonianmom suggests.

You may have missed the other thread where I explained that we followed up with both my son's school and IU, and IU is saying they get VERY backed up and the bottleneck is on their end. (They could NOT look for my sons information, however.) They need to enter all of the paper applications, transcripts and other documents into the system. Until they get all of an applicants paperwork entered, the status is going to say they need those things.
